Are you putting together your child’s holiday wish list and are not sure what to put on it? Is your baby a bit too young now, but you want to plan ahead when asking for gifts? Are you trying to figure out the perfect gift for a special little one in your life? Well, you’re in the right place. Here are some gift ideas for an “early toddler” around 1 year old!
Musical Instruments: Theo received these from one of our best friends, and he absolutely loves them. He pulls all the instruments out of the bag and plays them. He hasn’t quite figured out how to use all of them yet, but when he wants one played and he doesn’t know how to do it, he brings it over to me. It’s so cute! Anything that he can shake is a huge hit.
Fisher Price Little People School Bus: Theo got this for his birthday from his Goddaddies and he could play with it endlessly. The bus is interactive – it honks and sings songs. He loves cars and busses so it’s a perfect fit. He will also sit and open and close the door, as well as take little people and his farm animals and put them on and take them off of the bus through the open top. It’s provided HOURS of entertainment, and if you’ve ever had a toddler, you know how important that is.
Fisher Price Food Truck: another gift from friends of ours! Theo is just so lucky to have people that love him so much. This food truck is really fun for him. It’s also interactive but he particularly likes putting food in and taking food out of the little refrigerator. I love play pretend toys and this one does not disappoint!
The Pout Pout Fish book: this book is BY FAR Theo’s favorite book to read. It’s cleverly written and we bought it because everyone in my Facebook mom’s group was talking about it. We read it often.
Family Flash Cards: you can DIY these as shown in this blog post, or you can reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org for details on how to order. I’d love to make a set for the special baby in your life. Prices start at $15!
Please share your ideas for holiday gifts for this age group!!!
